Must have extensive knowledge in Arabic, Indian, Asian and International Cuisine.

F&B EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL:2 to 5 years

PREFERED: 2+ years’ experience as a Cook in the catering  industry

   

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

Able to read and follow standardized recipes

Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures

Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere

LANGUAGE SKILLS

ESSENTIAL: English

PREFERED: Arabic

CERTIFICATIONS

High school diploma

ANYOTHER PREFERENCE/ESSENTIAL QUALITIES

Proven experience as cook

Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware

Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)

Ability to follow all sanitation procedures

Ability to work in a team

JOB PURPOSE

An excellent cook must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. They must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important.
